Officials Ledger

Privacy Policy

Effective October 21, 2026

The short version: Officials Ledger runs entirely on your phone. Your games, fees, notes and imported schedules stay on your device, plus your own iCloud backup if you turn it on. There's no account, we don't run servers that collect your data, we don't sell anything about you, and the app works without an internet connection.

Who we are

Officials Ledger is published by Gundolph Development LLC ("we," "us"). This policy covers the Officials Ledger app for iPhone and Android and this website.

What the app stores

Everything you enter is saved on your device:

We do not receive a copy of any of this.

Location

If you use the "use my location" option, the app reads your location once to set your home point and saves it on your device. Mileage is then estimated on the device using the app's built-in list of schools. Your location is not sent to us or to any mapping service, and the app does not track your location in the background.

Schedule import

When you import a schedule, you choose a screenshot or photo from your device. The app reads it on your phone to find the games, then saves only the games you approve. The image is not uploaded to us or to any outside service. The app asks for access to your photos only when you import, and you can limit that access to the images you pick.

iCloud sync

On iPhone, your data can sync across your devices through your own iCloud account. That data is stored by Apple under your Apple Account and is covered by Apple's privacy policy. We cannot see it.

Notifications

Game reminders and unpaid-game notices are scheduled on your device and only appear if you allow notifications. They are not sent from our servers.

Purchases

Subscriptions and add-ons are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. They process your payment and tell the app what you've purchased. We never see your card or billing details. Their privacy policies cover that information.

Exports and sharing

When you export a season or tax-year report, the file is created on your device. Where it goes after that, such as email, Files or a tax preparer, is up to you.

What we don't do

This website

This site does not use cookies or analytics. Our web host may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and to keep the site running.

If you email us

If you contact support, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to answer you.

Children

Officials Ledger is made for working sports officials and is not directed to children under 13.

Deleting your data

Because your data lives on your device and in your own cloud backup, you control it. Deleting the app removes its data from that device. On iPhone, you can also remove the app's iCloud data in Settings under your name, then iCloud.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the effective date at the top.
